Terms

Terms of service

The agreement between you and the company that runs LocalizeMe. Written to be read rather than skipped, so it says what you are agreeing to in the words we would use if you asked.

Last updated 15 September 2026

Who you are agreeing with

LocalizeMe is operated by MB IBS Development, trading as Devsolutely, a company registered in Lithuania under registration code 304756667, VAT number LT100013459817, at Kauno g. 3A, Vilnius, LT-03001, Lithuania.

In these terms "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person or organisation using LocalizeMe. Using the service means you accept these terms.

What the service does

LocalizeMe stores translation keys and their values across languages and platforms, and gives you ways to read and change them: the web app, a developer API, an MCP server for AI agents, and import and export in the common translation formats.

Work is organised into workspaces, which hold projects, which hold keys. Access is granted per workspace and per project.

Your account

Signing in uses a link and a six-digit code sent to your email address, and you may also set a password and a second factor. Because your email address is how you prove who you are, keeping access to it is your responsibility.

API keys act on your behalf without anyone present. We store them only as hashes, so we cannot show you a key again after it is created — treat one like a password, and revoke it if it may have been exposed.

You are responsible for what the people you invite to a workspace do in it.

Plans, prices and VAT

The Free plan covers one project, three members and 100 screenshots, with no limit on how many languages or strings you use.

Pro is €19 per workspace per month, or €190 per workspace per year, both excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout at the rate that applies to you. Pro raises the limits to five projects and 1,000 screenshots, with unlimited languages and members.

Enterprise lifts the limits entirely and is arranged with us directly rather than bought from the site.

New workspaces get 14 days of Pro without a card. When a trial ends, or a subscription is cancelled, the workspace moves to Free.

Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

What happens when a workspace is over the limit

Nothing is deleted. If a workspace ends up over its plan on projects or members — by a trial ending or a subscription stopping, never by growing — editing pauses until you subscribe again or remove what is over the limit.

The screenshot cap works differently on purpose: being over it stops new uploads, and nothing else. Reading, editing and deleting carry on, because auxiliary context is not worth freezing a translator’s work over.

Reading and exporting keep working in every case, on every plan, and so do the developer API and the MCP server. You can always get your content out.

Your content is yours

You keep every right you have in the translations, keys, screenshots and other material you put into LocalizeMe. We claim no ownership of it.

You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store your content, process it, and show it to the people you have given access.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload — screenshots of your product included.

What you may not do

Do not use LocalizeMe to store or distribute unlawful material, to infringe somebody else’s rights, or to attack the service — probing for weaknesses, overwhelming the API, or trying to reach another customer’s data.

If you believe you have found a security problem, tell us at [email protected] rather than testing how far it goes. We would rather hear from you.

Availability

We work to keep LocalizeMe available and we do not promise a particular level of uptime on any plan. Maintenance, provider outages and faults happen.

We may change how the service works. Where a change would remove something you rely on, we will say so in advance by email where we reasonably can.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using LocalizeMe at any time, and cancel a subscription from the workspace’s billing page. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the period already paid for.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to. Except where the law prevents it, we will tell you why.

Export your content before you close an account. Export is available on every plan.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to LocalizeMe is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect loss.

Changes, and the law that applies

If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top, and tell account holders by email where the change is significant.

These terms are governed by Lithuanian law, and the courts of Lithuania have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections of the law where you live.
